Dragon Racing Fuels Atlanta SX Race Report Presented by Bill My Parents

Atlanta, GA – Team Dragon Racing Fuels/AG Motorsports KTM came into Atlanta with two rookie fill in riders as Justin Starling and David Buller took to the track for their first Supercross event of the 2012 series. With no time to test before the race, both riders made the best of it and mounted their AG Motorsports KTM’s with confidence and no pressure. This was Starlings first time on a KTM but adjusted well as he qualified for the night show and battled in both of his races. In Heat 2, #712 Justin Starling had a solid start and battled from mid pack but came up short as he finished 11th. Having finished outside the top 9, Starling had to make the most of the LCQ if he was going to make it into the Main Event. When the gate dropped for the LCQ, Starling had the Hole Shot in his grasp but his front end washed out going through the first turn. He lost his momentum and had to battle through the pack if he was going to make the top 2 into the Main Event. Starling had a solid race but finished 11th and missed the cut.
